I WANT TO COACH
From teaching our youngest netballers the most fundamental of netball skills, to developing the strengths, skills and game sense of our older netballers, coaches are instrumental to our club being able to support our players, their skill development and most importantly, their enjoyment of our game.

Becoming a coach is a simple process and our club is there to support you every step of the way. There is no prior coaching or netball experience required - you just need to have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
For players, learning to coach is a fantastic way to broaden their netball knowledge and understanding, as well as helping them to develop both game sense and empathy for the role that coaches play in our game.
Coaching also helps to develop personal skills such as communication, resilience and leadership, and is a great way to give back to the club and inspire our up and coming TONC netballers.
Beginner coaches hit the ground running by completing the Netball Australia Foundation Coaching Course (delivered online in your own time, and paid for by the club). The Foundation Coaching Course gives beginner coaches all the tools and information they need to take to the training court and begin their coaching journey.
Whether you are thinking about coaching just to help your child's team out; or whether you are wanting to develop your coaching skills and progress through the National Coaching Accreditation Framework, coaching is incredibly rewarding and we encourage you to give it a go!
If you or your child would like to learn more about becoming a coach for The Oaks Netball Club, please contact our Club President, Nadene Seisun at tonc.president@gmail.com
